The button is used to manually restart the system, like on other Arduino/Teensy devices.
During normal operation (including reprogramming the device), you never have to press this button. It’s usually only needed if you are having difficulty reprogramming the system. In this case, you might choose to press the button to force the system to restart, which causes the system to listen for the reprogramming signal from your PC.
Normally, though, I never have to press the button.
